Point Clear is a Duplex with 2 units each sleeping 10 for a total of 20 people if you rent both.
The name sake of this wonderful beach home is the small bayside community of Point Clear Alabama. Just a few miles north of Gulf Shores, Point Clear is home to several wonderful golf courses, many oak lined bike trails where you can enjoy the beuty of Mobile Bay on one side and the history of Alabama aristocracy in the many southern mansions on the other.
Point Clear is also the home of the wonderful Grand Hotel where you can have one of the best breakfasts in the south east. It was a regular treat for the Harris Family to get up on a Sunday morning, drive to point clear for breakfast and spend the day ridding bikes around the area just seeing the sights and enjoying the wind through the Spanish Moss. Point clear is currently our only duplex and is possibly one the best vacation values available in Gulf Shores. This was the first home built by Steve and Beky and was designed for the purpose of providing families with everything that they may need and want in a beach home.
A large living room has windows on two sides and is backed by the dinning room and kitchen. This family area allows everyone to be together if they want but allows the bedrooms to be separated and secluded. A downstairs bedroom with a queen bed has its porch, the upstairs rear bedroom is set up for children with buck beds but is equipped with its own bathroom, and finally the crowning juel of the master bedroom.
With a large master bathroom and a private porch facing the beach, this is the perfect area of solitude, just shut the door and enjoy your morning coffee by yourself as you listen to the waves roll in on your personal beach.
This home is also perfect for the larger groups as it can sleep 10 using the pull out couch in the living room and this can be easily doubled by renting both sides. If your group is larger than this, you also have the option of renting the Fountain of Youth which is right next door, Catalilna two doors down, and Bellingrath three doors down. So come and enjoy our Point Clear and the secluded couple's vacation you always wanted without leaving the kids.
