Indoor Comforts
Every detail at Just Piddling is designed with groups in mind. The main level offers an elevator for convenience, an extra refrigerator, and a handy cart for luggage and groceries.

The second floor provides a cozy secondary living area complete with a sectional sofa, TV and kitchenette — perfect for multi-generational families or kids needing their own space.

Upstairs, the third floor serves as the hub of the home, featuring a chef-inspired kitchen with dual refrigerators, dual dishwashers, stainless steel appliances, and a reverse osmosis water filtration system. Gather around the massive island for family meals or unwind in the living area that opens to a 500 sq. ft. covered balcony with sunset views. A half bathroom and the first of two laundry rooms are located on this level for guests convenience

"Just Piddlin’ was fantastic! It was incredibly well appointed so feeding lots of kids was easy and had enough space that we didn’t feel crowded when everyone was home. The beach was easy to access (and beautiful) and the pool was super convenient.

"We always enjoy the house and the amenities. I did mention to Harris Properties that my family complained about the pillows and the mattress I slept on needed to be replaced. We love the house. It is a great place for our large family with adults, teens and younger children.

"We love the house, pool, access to the beach, etc. This was our third year at Just Piddlin’ and we have already reserved it for next year. We are a large family and it suits us. The only thing I will say is that in the bedroom on the top floor with the ADA bathroom that the mattress in that room really needs to be replaced. It had dips on each side and a lump in the middle. Uncomfortable to sleep in. I really hope it is replaced by next year. Otherwise we love the place.

"Fantastic experience. First Time booking with Harris. Customer service was exceptional. Had a small incident where there was no hot water. Maintenance arrived and fixed the issue within half an hour. The property was wonderful. One of our guest recently had knee surgery and the elevator was a lifesaver. Very well equipped and decorated. The private pool is definitely a plus.

"My entire family, 8 adults and 6 grandkids, visited Just Piddling as a Christmas getaway. The house exceeded our expectations, the beach and location exceeded our expectations and the heated pool was simply beautiful. The pictures truly do not do it justice. I honestly couldn’t think of one item we didn’t have at our disposal. We definitely plan on returning.

"For years, our family group (16 of us) have stayed at a place that was too small and was "okay." We decided to try a Fall Break trip to the gulf and found this house. It was EXACTLY what we needed. It was plenty large for our 16 (8 adults and 8 kids). They've thought of everything with this house. There's two of just about everything (2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators in the kitchen...and a 3rd on the first level...2 golf carts, 2 ovens, 2 laundry rooms. The table space is huge both inside and out. The heated pool was a favorite of the kids. The neighborhood is quiet. The elevator was a life-saver for luggage and groceries. I can't say enough good things. Never once did we feel cramped. Great job with this property.

"Our first morning at this beautiful location was met with tragedy--my husband passed away from a heart attack. Fortunately our family was all there and we helped each other get through this. I am thankful we had this beach house as our base to work out arrangements for my husbands funeral in Mobile, Ala. later in the week. Having the elevator was wonderful for me personally. Having the pool to occupy our small grandchildren was a blessing. And the golf carts were great to have to go to the beach. I would say the only issue anyone had was the awkward coffee maker (I would suggest just a nice Keurig would suffice), and the stove (when using the very large pans for cooking large quantities, it was difficult to use the other burners). Otherwise, we loved the spacious rooms and furnishings. Oh it would have been nice to have some kind of instructions on using the television.

"Great location! Great space for our party of 11 with 6 teenagers! Every bedroom having a private bath was a huge plus! Two washers, dryers, and dishwashers helped make our family even more comfortable! Everything was very very clean! Our only disappointment was having to buy our own gas for the grill!

"We had 24 people stay at this home for our family vacation. It fit all of us comfortably and we had the best time! Easy access to the beach and so close to the golf course! We did have a few issues, but the host was an easy phone call or text away and got everything taken care of! This place was amazing!

"House was extremely clean and well supplied with all necessities. Refrigerator and coffee pot on each level. Very large kitchen with double refrigerators, two dishwashers, 2 ovens. Kitchen was stocked with an abundance of plates, dishes, pots, etc. Maintenance man was extremely courteous and quick in responding when we had an issue with the hot water heater. Would highly recommend this house and Harris Vacatiions.

"Our track and field state qualifiers needed a place to stay for the three day AHSAA track and field State Championship. Just Piddling was perfect for our crew. The athletes were able to relax in the pool or at the beach after each long day at the track meet. They were able to hang out in the large living room/dining room watching movies and playing card games. They slept great and were competition-ready for each meet day. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. It felt so nice to have such a comfortable place to stay after being out in the heat all day. Also, a bonus for me was the kitchen. Feeding the team was easy to do in the giant kitchen that had all the tools to make the job easy. We will definitely be booking with Harris Properties again.

"This house was perfect for our girls trip to the beach! Lots of space for everyone! Not a far walk to the beach, but it was so nice having the golf carts for hauling beach chairs. The privacy around the pool was also great. I definitely look forward to returning one day.

"This was an overall great house. It was a family vacation and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The swimming pool was very nice. Kids loved it and it wasn’t too far from the beach. I would consider going back there in the future.

"Awesome house! We take a golf trip every year in April and this was definitely our favorite house we have stayed in. The rooms were all very spacious and the amenities were all very nice. We had absolutely 0 complaints. We tried to go ahead and rebook it for next year but unfortunately it was already booked up the week we needed it.
